History of SavageCity

SavageCity was first conceived mid 2005 when we took the idea of providing quality soundsystems from house party's to the next level. With that we then started buying quality new and used Pro PA gear.

The first system included the Turbosound TXD 218's loaded with two amazing Volt RV4515 18" Radial Loudspeaker.

Those who are yet to hear the Volt drivers will be overwhelmed with the pure consistency of the bass they produce. "the worlds coolest loudspeaker" and it certainly lives up to this with "up to 100 percent more usable power at maximum amplifier output, especially when hot, delivering almost 3dB more maximum sound than an ordinary speaker under the same conditions".

These sub monsters run at a huge 2000w per box and can can push down to 40hz and beyond. So we had to purchase some amps that would be able to deliver that output. This was to come in the form of two PSL Amps, old but they run at extremely high output levels when in mono mode.

The Mids and Tops for this system come from A.S.S. The dimensions for these are well matched to the turbosound subs, so the system stands tall as one unit. The Mids have a dual 10" design loaded with beyma drivers. With the tops being two separate 1" horns loaded with BCN compression drivers.

All the speakers are passive so we use two BSS FDS360s, run 3-way mono so to give each driver the right frequency and gain level.
